Description:
Currently located against the southern wall of the oecus (room g) was a wooden aedicula. It is believed, however, that the shrine originally sat in an unknown room on the first floor. The structure consisted of a simple wooden pediment which was 1.07m high. It had two wooden Corinthian columns with marble capitals. Above these sat a simple pediment. Statuettes were recorded as being from the inside of the shrine, however, it was not made clear what these were. Andrews notes that this may have included a statuette of Asclepius which was found in the rooms below with the fragments of the aedicula.
