Description:

On the western wall of the second atrium (used as a peristyle) were two brick pseudo-aedicula niches with stucco mouldings. The niches sat 1.7m above the floor. The right niche was better preserved, with its façade largely intact showing a simple pediment with the tympanum painted red with yellow floral motifs. Remnants of stucco and red paint were present on the interior of the niches. Both niches had projecting bases of stuccoed brick with a simple stucco architrave running below these.
