Description:
In the west wall of the bakery space was a rectangular niche. The niche had a projecting base and sat high up on the wall. It was accompanied by a cult painting that featured the Genius, tibicen, and camillus carrying out a sacrifice on an altar. On each side of this group stood the Lares holding rhyta and situlae. Below was a single serpent approaching an altar that had offerings on top.
