Ala

Description:

Located on the east wall of an ala was a cult painting. This cult painting depicted a single yellow serpent moving amidst plants towards an altar. Upon the altar were offerings of two eggs and a pine cone. Above there may have originally been additional figures; however, the plaster in this section has fallen and so the painting no longer survives.
