Room function:

Peristyle/Portico

Description:

Located in the front portico of the peristyle, along the east wall, were the remains of an aedicula shrine. The structure was constructed from masonry and flanked by two heavy pilasters, the height of which could not be determined at the time of recording by Boyce. It is likely that upon these rested a vault or roof. Only rubble remains today.
