Description:
Located on the south wall of the main shop room were two niches sitting above each other. The top niche was rectangular while the bottom was arched. The lower niche was coated in stucco and had been filled in with rubble, so was not in use at the time of the eruption. The upper niche was also stuccoed, with traces of red paint. The property is not fully excavated and so the wider context of the niches within the property is uncertain.
