Description:
Against the western wall of the first-floor rear room was a wooden aedicula shrine, carbonised during the eruption. The wooden structure had two Corinthian columns with capitals and a pediment with simple moulding. A section of four panels made up the front of the shrine, of which three survive today. The second panelled section from the right was originally a door, the hinges of which were not preserved. The right side of the structure was also panelled. The shrine sat below a square niche, on a base that has not been preserved.
