Cult Spaces:
PP145, PP146
Room function:
Commercial space (Industrial and Other)
Description:
Located against the eastern wall of a garden space was an aedicula structure. It took the form of rectangular niche with a rough pediment. The walls of the niche appear to have been constructed from tile. Excavation images indicate that the shrine was in a poor state and no evidence of decoration appears to have survived. The bad state of the structure as well as its hidden location behind a curved wall (believed to be a cistern in construction) suggests that this cult space was not in use at the time of eruption.
