Description:
Located in the north west corner of the small garden was a cult space. This comprised of an irregular aedicula masonry structure in the corner and a niche on the northern wall. On the southern side of the aedicula structure were two deep irregular niches which sat on top of each other. Above these niches ran a band of projecting tiles, above which sat a sort of masonry pediment. The whole structure appeared to have been coated in stucco. The back wall of the bottom niche appeared to have been painted in a dark/black colour, while paint was no longer visible in other areas. The aedicula appeared to have been added on top of this garden painting, with the figure of Venus cut off by the eastern wall of the structure, indicating that it was newer in age than the decoration of the garden.
The niche on the northern wall was a simple arched niche with a tile projecting base. Its interior was coated in stucco.
