Description:
In the kitchen was a cult painting. This featured a flaming altar in the centre with the Genius on the right holding an acerra over the altar. On the left of the altar was a female figure, suggested to be the Juno. On each side of this central group stood a Lar, holding a rhyton and patera. In the register below, a single serpent moving towards an altar. The exact location of the cult space is not certain as it is not preserved today, however, Fiorelli noted that it was close to the hearth.
