Description:
On the west wall of the kitchen was a cult painting. The scene was located above the hearth and featured the Genius being assisted by the tibicen, popa, and camillus. Of the popa, only a foot survived, visible under a hog. Only the right side of the painting survived to be recorded. On the far right was a Lar holding rhyton and situla (a matching Lar was presumably originally present on the opposite site). A garland hung above the figures. In the lower register, there was an altar and a single serpent. On the other side were depictions of various objects such as an eel, two hams, and a bird. The painting does not survive today.
