Description:

On the south wall of the bakery room was a large cult painting. This depicted a blazing tripod in the centre with a Genius to the right holding a cornucopia and patera, pouring a libation. On each side stood a Lar carrying rhyton and patera. To the left of this group stood Vesta holding a sheaf of grain and a sceptre, with a donkey beside her. On the group of the central group stood Mercury, holding a purse and caduceus. In the lower register marked off by a brown line, were two serpents meeting at an altar, on top of which was a shallow dish containing a fire with an egg and fruit including a date, a pomegranate and a medlar. The painting does not survive today.
