Description:
Located on the north wall of a small room behind the tablinum was an arched niche. The niche sat 0.80m above the floor with its interior walls coated in white stucco. The niche had a projecting tile base. Just above the niche were twenty-five nail holes, likely there to hang garlands. It was located under the staircase which led to the upper floors.
