Description:

Located against the west wall of the garden was a nymphaeum. This structure was a simple masonry aedicula which comprised mostly a large arched niche. While the original decoration of the structure does not survive, a marble statue of a nymph was originally located within the fountain and various statues were found in the vicinity of the structure, including one depicting Silenus.
