Description:
In the northeast corner of the peristyle was a cult space. This took the form of an aedicula shrine which sat on a rectangular podium. The podium was coated in yellow stucco and bordered with red stripes. On the two free-standing sides of the podium were the painted or stucco relief depictions of serpents coiling towards an altar on the corner of the podium. Plants were present below the serpents. The interior walls of the aedicula were yellow and included a depiction of a Lar holding a rhyton and situla on each side. The property was damaged in WWII with only the podium surviving today.
