Description:
On the south wall of the kitchen was a shrine, centred around a rectangular niche. The niche sat beside the hearth, 1.25m above the floor. On the back wall of the niche was a painting depicting the Genius. On the floor in front was a masonry altar. Photographs indicate that the niche had a heavy projecting base constructed from tile and coated in stucco.
