Located on the western wall of the kitchen was a cult painting. While fragmentary at the time of its excavation, the scene could be seen to depict one Lar, the Genius pouring a libation, a camillus, and below, one red and yellow serpent. A second, smaller panel had been painted over the top of this one, however, of this only one Lar remained. On the south wall of the room was a painted ham. The painting does not survive today.
