Description:

On the western wall of the open room that preceded the garden was a cult space. This cult space consisted of a painted scene depicting two yellow serpents meeting at a cylindrical altar with offerings of fruit among plant material on a panel of white plaster. In the pavement below the painting were the markings left by a square masonry altar. The painting sat above a dado of brickwork. The painting no longer survives.
