Description:
In the northwest corner of the garden was a shrine. It consisted of an irregular niche set into a panel of white stucco marked by broad red stripes. The niche sat 1.30m above the floor and its interior corners were outlined in red. The back wall was painted blue and decorated with red and yellow spots and yellow stars with red centres. The interior walls, the border around the opening of the niche, and its projecting shelf were all decorated in this manner. On the ground below the niche stood a masonry altar covered in stucco with traces of burnt offerings present at the time of excavation.
