Description:

In the northeastern corner of the kitchen space within the atrium was a shrine. This consisted of an arched niche sitting 0.20m above a hearth. The interior of the niche was coated in white stucco. On the floor of the niche stood a masonry block, likely an altar or base, with a mark left by an oval object in its centre. A cylindrical terracotta altar was found within the niche.
