Description:

Above the hearth on the west wall of the kitchen was a cult painting. This scene depicted a cylindrical altar with a serpent coilder around. On top of the altar were offerings of a pine cone. On each side of the altar stood a Lar. To the right behind a Lar, a man could be seen pulling a hog. The lower register was not well preserved by the time of Boyce’s recording with only traces of plants remaining. It no longer survives today.
