Description:
Located on the south wall of the peristyle garden, near the marine Venus painting, was a shrine consisting of a niche that sat 1.50m above the floor. The interior of the niche was coated in stucco and painted, possessing a projecting masonry base. On the white background, two green pants were painted with a red line bordering the interior of the niche. The opening of the niche was also bordered by a red line. Between the two red borders ran a green plant decoration. The decoration of the niche blends in with the larger garden and marine scenes on the wall around it.
