Description:
In the northwest corner of the triclinium were two arched niches. These niches sat 1.53-54m above ground and were roughly the same size. One large shelf of tile projected from the floors of both niches. The interiors of the niches were painted, with remnants of light green and blue present. Below the niches, was a painted garden scene consisting of imitation latticework, plants, and birds. A red line was painted in the corner of the wall where the two niches met.
