Description:
Found in the rubble of a basement room was the lower section of a limestone altar. The front of the altar possessed a partial dedication to Jupiter Optimus Maximus Conservator and was decorated with several moulded circles. It is uncertain if this altar was originally located in this basement room or if it came from elsewhere in the house and used as backfill following the fire that destroyed the property.
