Triclinium/Dining Room
Features:
Aediucla, Nymphaeum
Description:
Located on the southwest wall of the triclinium was an aedicula structure believed to have been a nymphaeum. The structure had a semi-circular form. Fragments of wall paintings and marble sculptures indicate that the area was finely decorated. The nymphaeum was flanked by two access ramps. The floor of the room was decorated with opus signinum which suggests the use of water in the room (likely from the nymphaeum).
