Description:
Located on the eastern wall of a triclinium was a nymphaeum. The nymphaeum had a semi-circular pond at its base into which water came from a niche opening set into the wall above. The structure was connected to a U-shaped channel that extended around the sides of the room. Two sculptures of female figures were found in the fill used to seal the nymphaeum. One of these depicted a Nymph or Venus which was believed to have initially been housed in the nymphaeum. The second sculpture depicted a Nymph holding a shell. Further sculptural fragments were also found belonging to another female statue. The property is not fully excavated so the wider context of the nymphaeum is uncertain.
