Located on the northern wall of the central first-floor room was a square niche. The niche sat 0.83m above the floor of the room. The interior of the niche was lined with wood, which was carbonised and is preserved in situ today. During excavation, a small polychrome red marble statuette of a deity was found in the niche. The room was said to have been a kitchen space, however, the counter no longer survives.
