Description:
Located in the basement was a cult room. The room sat on the NW corner of the excavated extent of the house. The room had an irregular quadrangular plan. At the rear of the room was a base with a shelf, in front of which was a brick and tufa altar. The walls were decorated with white stucco which also coated the base and altar. Inside the room, a statue of Venus was found. The room has been dated to the Augustan period.
