Room function:
Commercial space (Hospitality)
Description:
Located on the southern wall of the shop space, near the western corner, was a small arched niche. The niche had been filled in with what appears to be packed earth, however, the layer of stucco which decorated the niche is apparent revealing the outline of the feature. As such, the niche was not in use at the time of eruption and is indicative of changes made within the property over time.
