Description:
In the west wall of the peristyle was an arched niche. The niche sat 1.27m above the ground and the wall around the niche showed traces of a painting. In the floor of the niche was a hole, presumably for a stauette base, and consisted of a projecting tile. The wall below the niche was marked off by red stripes and within the panel was a cult painting. This featured an altar in the centre with an offering of an egg. On the left was a serpent coiling among plants wiith red flowers. On the right of the altar was the Genius with the camillus and popa carrying a knife and leading a hog to the altar.
