Description:

In the south wall of a small courtyard off the tablinum was an arched niche. The niche sat 2.10m above the floor. In the ceiling vault was a hole. It was referred to as a small niche of the Penates by the excavation report. The property was destroyed in WWII and so the shrine is no longer preserved.
