Description:
On the south wall of the peristyle was a vaulted semi circular niche. The niche sat 1.65m above the floor and its interior was coated with white stucco and decorated with red and yellow spots. The niche was outlined by red stripes. On the wall above the niche were painted Lares and below it were two serpents meeting at an altar. Within the niche, statuettes were found. This included the Genius holding a cornucopia and patera, a possible Lar with patera, Hercules with his lion skin and club, Jupiter holding his thunderbolt and sceptre with an eagle at his side, and Isis-Fortuna with a lotus flower on her forehead and holding a cornucopia and rudder.
