Peristyle/Portico

Description:

On the south side of a half wall between columns of the peristyle was a cult painting. The painting faced the open garden area and consisted of a simple aedicula structure with the pediment painted in red. Within the structure were two yellow serpents meeting at an altar. The painting does not survive today.
