Description:
On the north wall of the central room was a cult painting. This was carried out on a white stucco panel which was bordered by a red stripe and consisted of two registers. The upper register featured the Lares, each with their rhyton and situla, with the Genius present in between them pouring a libation upon an altar. On the other side of the altar was a tibicen. The lower register of the scene featured a single yellow serpent heading towards a yellow marble altar that was furnished with an egg. The function of this room is debated, with Boyce stating it was a triclinium while Giacobello identified it as an apothecary.
