VII. xvi. 12-16
Cult Space Type:
Shrine
Date:
79 A.D.
Associated
Cult Spaces:
PP435
Structural type:
Aediucla
Room function:
Atrium
Description:
In the northeast corner of the atrium (at the entrance of #13) stood a brick podium. The podium was referred to as an altar for sacrifices by one scholar but was also referred to as a base for a lararium by another. It is more likely to have been a podium for an aedicula. The houe is not fully mapped and so the wider context of the shrine within the property is uncertain.
