Latrine

Description:

On the west wall of the kitchen, within the latrine, was a cult painting. This was carried out on a white background and featured Fortuna holding a rudder with a globe at her feet. Her right arm appeared to have been holding something but has disappeared. The painting was incomplete at the time of the eruption and showed signs that more figures were to be added. Only the plaster that the painting was on has survived today.
