Description:
On the west wall was a large rectangular niche, interpreted by Fiorelli as a household shrine. Boyce describes a second arched niche within the atrium, located on the south wall, noting that this niche was more "like the usual shrine." This niche sat 0.55m from the floor (see image above). It is uncertain which niche served as a cult space (or perhaps both did).
