Description:
On the west wall of the peristyle was a rectangular niche. The niche sat 0.75m above the floor. On the wall around the niche was a brick pediment, originally coated in stucco. On the back wall was a painted depiction of a sword sheath. The cultic function of this niche is debated by scholars.
