Description:
On the northern end of the western wall of the garden was an arched niche. The niche sat 1.30m above the ground and was placed at the end of a passage that led to the atrium. The niche had a heavy projecting base constructed from a roof tile with raised edges coated in stucco. The back wall of the niche was painted a blue-green and was decorated with plants.
