Description:
On the east wall of the kitchen, above the hearth, was an arched niche. The niche sat 0.70m above the floor. There were two holes in the base of the niche for statuettes. Originally, the niche was accompanied by a cult painting of which only faint traces survived at the time of excavation. The interior of the niche contains remnants of only plaster today.
