Description:
In the east wall of the peristyle was an arched niche. The niche sat 1.10m above the floor and possessed a projecting tile base with three holes for statuettes. The interior of the niche was coated in stucco. Several iron nails were driven into the wall beside the niche at the height of its base which is believed to have held an ornamental wooden cornice in place.
