Description:
Located on the north wall of the garden was an arched niche with a tufa altar in front. The niche sat 1.30m above the ground. Its interior was coated in stucco, with a stepped projecting shelf as its floor. There were traces of white paint on the interior. The tufa altar with the image of Hercules' club carved on its front face sat in front of the niche. The altar possessed pulvini and was not fixed to the ground.
