Description:
On the south wall of the kitchen was a stucco panel depicting a cult scene. The painting depicted two large yellow serpents with red scales. Both serpents were moving right towards a marble slab/shelf which was decorated with a lion’s head. This shelf was set into a corner formed by the hearth and the south wall of the room. Plants decorated the background of the scene. The painting is barely visible today.
