Description:
This cult space consisted of multiple niches within the kitchen. In the north wall of the kitchen was an arched niche that sat 1.35m above the ground. The interior of the niche was originally coated in yellow stucco, with a red outline, and tile for a base. On the south wall of the same room, approx 1m above the ground, was a set of three niches, all of the same size with a cornice running below. Boyce noted that sometime after these niches were created, a recess for the latrine was built into the southwest corner of the room. This new wall cut through the westernmost niche, leaving the remaining two fully in the kitchen. During excavation, a terracotta bust of Kore/Persephone was found in one of the niches.
