Located on the north wall of the main shop was an irregularly shaped niche, which sat 1.40m above the ground. As seen in photographs, the interior of the niche was coated in red stucco with the base of the niche comprised of projecting terracotta tiles. A previous layer of white/cream stucco can be seen underneath the red stucco layer indicating that the decoration of the niche changed over time.
