Description:
Located off the south side of the garden, adjoining an apothecary, was a cult room. In the centre of the room stood a masonry altar, on which a rooster was painted. On the south wall was a panel of white stucco (1.50 h by 1.90 w) marked off by red stripes. Within this panel was a cult painting, depicting a Genius pouring a libation on an altar. A serpent was present heading towards the altar, moving through plants. At the top of the painting, three small garlands were situated, each with a bird perched upon it. The cult room was heavily damaged during WWII.
