Description:
Located on the west wall of the garden was a nymphaeum. The structure stood before a swimming pool and is believed to have been in the form of an aedicula. While largely destroyed, lower sections of its east and west walls as well as its base were preserved. Evidence of stucco and paint remained indicating that the back wall was painted blue while the base of the fountain was green. Found in the vicinity of the nymphaeum were statues of a fragmentary human figure, a frog, and a crab. Today, a reconstructed version is present at the property.
