Description:
Located in the southwest corner of an underground room (36) in the service area was a limestone altar. The base of the altar possessed a stepped decoration with bevelled moulding. The main body of the altar was rectangular in shape and possessed an epigraph on its front face dedicating the altar to Jupiter (Jupiter Optimus Maximum). The upper portion of the altar was decorated again with bevelled moulding with pulvini framing it.
