Peristyle/Portico
Features:
Aediucla, Podium
Description:
In the south east corner of the peristyle was an aedicula shrine. The podium of the structure is all that remains, sitting against the corner column of the portico. The podium was constructed from bricks and was rectangular in shape. The column attached to the podium still has traces of stucco present prior to the attachment of the podium, indicating that the shrine was a later addition. The absence of mortar on the top of the podium suggests that the podium has been preserved at its full height.
